What You Need to Join the Sunset Farms Show Team

To keep our show team strong, safe, and successful, we do have two simple requirements:

1. Riders Must Take Lessons at Sunset Farms

Our show team riders take regular lessons with our trainers so everyone enters the ring prepared, confident, and ready to shine. Lessons ensure that riders develop strong horsemanship skills, understand show ring rules, and ride to the best of their ability.

Our trainers work closely with each rider to help them grow, set goals, and achieve them. Whether you're a beginner dreaming of your first show or an experienced rider hoping to advance, lessons are the foundation of our team's success.

2. Riders Must Show a Tennessee Walking Horse

Sunset Farms proudly specializes in the beautiful and versatile Tennessee Walking Horse. To be part of our show team, riders need to show a TWH—whether it's their own horse or one leased or provided by the farm.

Focusing on this breed helps us stay consistent as a team and allows our riders to really connect with the unique abilities, smooth gaits, and wonderful personalities of the Tennessee Walker. These horses make showing fun, rewarding, and smooth—literally!
